Complete Custom Software Systems
PDC 2006 :
A complete business process system for a company in the circuit board business. It supports every function of the company from the receipt of a request for a quote to carrying out the job, managing purchase orders, quality testing, inventory, and logistics. It is a Visual Basic application with a SQL Server database. QCS Security, described in the Products page of this website is integrated into PDC 2006.

A complete laboratory information management system for a testing laboratory. It replaced an obsolete LIMS product, implementing the best of that product’s technical design in a modern architecture. It is a Visual Basic application with a SQL Server database.

Ewarenow developed Conservation Connections to meet the requirements of a Land Trust, and retains the proprietary rights to sell the product. It is a Visual Basic application with an Access database.

Web Application for a state government agency :
Ewarenow was one of three subcontractors on a very large project to serve the needs of an agency of the State of New Hampshire. The software is used by approximately 500 users in the state capitol and 12 other cities. Ewarenow developed two major subsystems and collaborated with another subcontractor on a third. It is a Web application developed when Microsoft .Net was still not available in the marketplace. It has a SQL Server database. The application is fully HIPAA-compliant. The architecture of QCS Security is implemented in this application.
PROP :
A purchase order system for a construction company. The client has a financial and job management system called StarBuilder that meets most of its needs. But its purchase order module could not meet the client’s requirements. Ewarenow’s software allows project managers and supervisors on remote job sites, as well as office workers, to create Material Requisitions, Purchase Requisitions, and Purchase Order. The software uses Web Services to synchronize remote job site data with the host. The software takes advantage of data in numerous StarBuilder tables and writes to just two PO-related tables. It is a C# application written using Visual Studio 2003 and SQL Server 2000. It enforces good security with the QCS Security.

Ewarenow architected, designed and developed the security model in QCS Security initially for the state government agency project described above. It has been refined for PDC 2006 and PROP and is now productized. It is a Visual Basic application developed under Visual Studio 2005 and using SQL Server 2005.
