An Information Management System for Land Trusts

Conservation Connections is an integrated relational database application that allows a layperson to access and retrieve information on protected properties for an organization in an easy and rapid manner. It was jointly designed by Ewarenow and the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests.

The software serves the needs of Land Protection specialists and Land Stewards. It also provides value to other functions within the land trust organization by being a single, integrated source of all facts relevant to each piece of property: facts about the property itself facts about every person or organization with a role relating to the property; records of stewardship activities; and useful history and stories about the property.

Conservation Connections has a powerful Contacts subsystem, or can be integrated with the land trusts fundraising software’s database with a modest amount of customization that Ewarenow can do.

Ewarenow presents the software’s capabilities each year at the annual Land Trust Alliance Rally.

Ewarenow owns the proprietary rights to the software. We sell it as a customer-installable and customer-configurable package. We also take on customization projects to modify and extend it capabilities to meet a land trust’s specific needs.
